Summary

People's lives and information are increasingly becoming stored in the digital world. This presentation will look at the different areas of electronic discovery including social media and medical records. The program will address: • discoverability and methods of discovery social media with a brief discussion of ethics • how to download social media and how to download social media
• medical record production and how HITECH works
• what to do when the provider won’t comply
• electronic medical records and requests in general as well as
• audit trails on electronic records
• other electronically stored data and data sources

Scarlette Kelty
Scarlette Burton Kelty is an attorney at the Poppe Law Firm in Louisville. She concentrates her practice in catastrophic injury cases stemming from medical, legal, and other professional negligence, semi-truck wrecks, nursing home neglect, and mass torts.
