Summary

Taking a deposition is a frequent and necessary part of litigation, and with more and more cases reaching out of court resolutions, depositions have become increasingly important. Intentionally focusing on questioning techniques and deposition strategies can help ensure each deposition reaches its full potential for each case. This program will highlight and discuss deposition strategies, questioning styles, potential pitfalls, and deposition technology applicable to all types of depositions. Leslie will highlight and discuss these tips, provide useful examples, and walk through new technology that can take your depositions to the next level.

Leslie Pescia
Leslie Pescia practices in the Consumer Fraud Section at Beasley, Allen, Crow, Methvin, Portis, and Miles, P.C. in Montgomery, Alabama. Leslie’s practice focuses on consumer protection issues and complex litigation, including anticompetitive conduct in antitrust claims, whistleblower litigation, and national class actions.
